Call for Volunteers: Land Title and Survey Authority of BC’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee

  • October 08, 2019

The CBABC seeks candidates from which it will appoint its representative to the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC’s Stakeholder Advisory Committee for a term beginning November 15 and continuing until March 31, 2021.

The LTSA Stakeholder Advisory Committee plays an important role in ensuring the Authority is aware of stakeholder concerns and requirements with regard to the operations and services of the Authority and that stakeholders are aware of the challenges, opportunities and business plans for the Authority.

The Committee meets approximately 3 times per year for a half day. These meetings will most usually be held by way of video conference with in-person hubs in Victoria and Vancouver.

CBABC will select a representative who is actively engaged in the CBABC Real Property or Commercial & Real Estate Sections, has specific expertise related to the LTSA, and will actively consult with those CBABC Sections and the Executive Committee.

CBABC members who wish to be considered for this volunteer opportunity, please submit your letter of interest and resume to the attention of Kerry L. Simmons QC, Executive Director, CBABC, 10th Floor 845 Cambie Street, Vancouver BC V6B 5T3. Email: ea@cbabc.org. Deadline 5pm, October 31, 2019.
