It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Donald Hart on April 13, 2019. Loving husband, supportive father, doting 'Poppy', loyal friend and esteemed colleague. David was the epitome of a true gentleman through and through and had one of the kindest souls ever.

He was a very talented and well-respected Family Law attorney who adored his profession. His love of the law was only superseded by his love for his family. He has been described by many in the legal community as an understanding, patient, wise and compassionate teacher and mentor.

In his family, we use many of the same descriptions for him. He was often a sounding board for his children and grandchildren providing sage advice and encouragement. This gentle, loving man was adored beyond measure and he will be dearly missed by so many.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Jane; his daughters, Jennifer (Jason), Sarah (Kris) and Judy (Dennis); his sons Richard (Shirley) and Stephen (Kelly); his grandchildren Devon (Shea), Mackenzie, Kiko, Payton, Tristan, Tucker, Porter and Caylen; his great-great-grandchildren Rozen and Cluney; his sister Marjorie, her husband Rob and his many nieces and nephews along with numerous friends and colleagues.

As deeply as his presence was felt, his absence will be felt just as deeply. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice in his name.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday June 1 at Hazelmere Country Club from 1 - 3pm 18150 8th Ave, Surrey.
