CBA passes motion defining diversity at AGM

“This definition will provide almost like a GPS, what our basic co-ordinates are in terms of addressing diversity. But I personally feel there’s a lot to be done yet,” Kamaljit Lehal told Legal Feeds. Lehal moved the resolution yesterday at the AGM in Ottawa while speaking by video conference from Vancouver.

Report on legal aid review complete

The Rural Education and Access to Lawyers Initiative (REAL) is committed to assisting law firms and practitioners in small communities and rural areas of British Columbia to recruit, hire and retain law students and new lawyers. The deadline for 2019 REAL funding is February 20, 2019.
