“The Grieving Process”
Three 2-Hour Evening Sessions 6 Hours CPD
LAPBC is offering a three-session evening program for lawyers who are working through the grieving process. We suffer losses and changes at work, in our personal relationships and in these changing times. This confidential program will focus on “what’s normal”, managing relationships with others, healing, resiliency, life after loss, as well as other related issues. It will be facilitated by Michael Kahn, LPC (Oregon), JD.
When: Monday: November 4th, 18th & 25th, 2019

Michael Kahn, LPC, JD has been a counselor since 1994 and practised law with the Attorney General’s Office for the State of New Jersey for 6 years. He presents on ethics, diversity, wellness and grief for lawyers and mental health professionals. Michael wrote the chapter “Saying Goodbye: Loss and Bereavement” in Cinemeducation, Volume 2: Using Film and Other Visual Media in Graduate and Medical Education.
