Aesha has been practising in Victoria, BC, since 2005, and has focused her practice in family law for the past 13+ years. She is a trained family law mediator and has conducted many mediations. Aesha represents family law clients at all levels of court in BC. She is also a trained collaborative family lawyer and has represented clients in collaborative family law processes, mediations, and med/web processes. Aesha is currently working for Legal Aid BC and working in child protection. She looks forward to assisting other lawyers in whatever way she can.

Heather Hettiarachchi

Heather is a lawyer, mediator, investigator and the founder of Integritas Workplace Law Corp. She has a part-time practice that focuses on all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-union workplaces. Heather has extensive experience in conducting workplace investigations, resolving workplace conflicts utilizing ADR practices, and representing clients in human rights, privacy, employment standards, and labour relations matters. She is passionate about workplace integrity and focuses on educating clients on proactively using best practices in the workplace. Heather has hands-on labour relations and human resources management experience including at the UBC and VCC. She coaches and trains all levels of employees and conducts workshops on a wide range of workplace matters and is a frequent speaker at seminars and webinars. Heather holds an LLB degree and a MSc in Training and Human Resources Management. She is a Qualified Mediator and a certified HR professional holding CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations in Canada and the US. Heather is excited to join the CBABC Practice Coaches program and looks forward to working with members who use this program.

He has practiced for over 10 years in Vancouver with a national (now international) firm and has practiced in Kelowna for almost 10 years. Andrew has co-chaired and presented at many CLEs and is routinely asked to present to other lawyers (in particular in relation to real estate litigation) or to industry groups (builders liens and construction claims).

Rose Keith, K.C. is a Partner with Harper Grey. Her multi-faceted practice focuses on workplace law assisting both employers and employees, in a full range of issues including wrongful and constructive dismissals, human rights matters, workplace investigations, and policy and procedure developments. She also has a thriving critical injury practice representing clients in motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability cases and a significant portion of her practice is devoted to representing clients in sexual abuse cases, either as plaintiff or as defendants and is the Chair of our critical injury group. Rose is a skilled mediator and her broad subject matter expertise is used to help resolve disputes through mediation in other areas including wills and estates, personal injury, and breach of contract. She is well known across the province for her legal acumen and sound judgment. She is passionate about initiatives supporting women most recently becoming an advisor and blogger with Life in Law, a support forum for women in law by women in law.
