Most of Daniel’s career has been in firms, practicing or contributing primarily to the areas of corporate and securities law, with a more recent focus on corporate transparency and beneficial ownership. He was a client-facing lawyer for almost eight years, and an internal practice support lawyer for another five. Daniel had some good mentors along the way and would be happy to share some of his own knowledge and experiences.

Participant Acknowledgement

To be eligible to utilize the Practice Coaches Program, participants must acknowledge the following:

  • Participants contacting a coach are responsible for their own decisions and outcomes.
  • Participants are Law Society of BC members in good standing.
  • Participants are expected to be prepared for their call with a coach by doing any necessary research and critical thinking about the issue beforehand.
  • Participants must remain aware of any potential conflicts of interest, including the potential that someone else in the firm may be representing an opposing or related party.
  • Participants must maintain client confidentiality. Share only the information necessary to have the discussion.
  • Coaches have generously contributed their time to offer their guidance. Calls are expected to be between 15-30 minutes; please be prepared and efficient with your time.
  • Coaches are not obligated to continue assisting you without remuneration over a period of time after the initial call.
