Jacob
Jacob Kojfman
The Co-operators Group Ltd.
Jacob is currently a commercial contracting counsel focusing on purchasing technology services and solutions, including software, SaaS, and other cloud solutions, at a financial institution. Right before this job, Jacob spent almost six years on the vendor side of a Canadian affiliate of a global IT services company, supporting a sales team. Jacob is excited to provide guidance to lawyers who need a helping hand. He has presented at two CBABC IP/IT Section meetings: one on cloud contracts and another that was a fireside chat on tech contracts. In August 2021, an article Jacob wrote on issues in cloud contracts was one of the most widely read articles by the global in-house organization that published it. In October 2022, he was a panelist on IP issues in commercial transactions at the same organization's annual conference, the largest gathering of in-house counsel in the world.
