Heather is a lawyer, mediator, investigator and the founder of Integritas Workplace Law Corp. She has a part-time practice that focuses on all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-union workplaces. Heather has extensive experience in conducting workplace investigations, resolving workplace conflicts utilizing ADR practices, and representing clients in human rights, privacy, employment standards, and labour relations matters. She is passionate about workplace integrity and focuses on educating clients on proactively using best practices in the workplace. Heather has hands-on labour relations and human resources management experience including at the UBC and VCC. She coaches and trains all levels of employees and conducts workshops on a wide range of workplace matters and is a frequent speaker at seminars and webinars. Heather holds an LLB degree and a MSc in Training and Human Resources Management. She is a Qualified Mediator and a certified HR professional holding CPHR and SHRM-SCP designations in Canada and the US. Robin has a broad civil litigation practice with a focus on public law including environmental, aboriginal, constitutional, human rights, employment, and administrative law. Robin has appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada, the BC and Federal Courts of Appeal, the BC Supreme Court, the BC Provincial Court, and before administrative tribunals and arbitrators. She is a 2001 graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia, and was called to the Bar of the Law Society of British Columbia in 2003 after clerking for the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Robin has a passion for issues of equality and social justice, and is the Past-Chair of the CBABC’s Women Lawyers Forum – Vancouver Island, Chair of the CBABC’s Court Services Committee, former chair of the Capital Families Association, and an associate of the University of Victoria’s Environmental Law Centre. She supports public legal education by speaking to law students, community groups, professional associations, and high school students about important legal issues.

Rose Keith, K.C. is a Partner with Harper Grey. Her multi-faceted practice focuses on workplace law assisting both employers and employees, in a full range of issues including wrongful and constructive dismissals, human rights matters, workplace investigations, and policy and procedure developments. She also has a thriving critical injury practice representing clients in motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability cases and a significant portion of her practice is devoted to representing clients in sexual abuse cases, either as plaintiff or as defendants and is the Chair of our critical injury group. Rose is a skilled mediator and her broad subject matter expertise is used to help resolve disputes through mediation in other areas including wills and estates, personal injury, and breach of contract. She is well known across the province for her legal acumen and sound judgment. She is passionate about initiatives supporting women most recently becoming an advisor and blogger with Life in Law, a support forum for women in law by women in law.

Fred Wynne is an employment lawyer, a human rights lawyer, and above all a tenacious problem solver. Fred practices in all areas of employment law, especially wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, human rights discrimination, disability accommodation, privacy, and non-competition and non-solicitation matters. Fred has appeared as a lawyer before all levels of court in British Columbia as well as before administrative tribunals such as the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Employment Standards Tribunal and the Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal. Despite Fred’s comfort with the litigation process, Fred is also committed to resolving lawsuits without going to court, including through negotiation and mediation whenever possible. Fred is a trained mediator, holding certification from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University which is the United States’ top ranked dispute resolution law school.

Berry works with Indigenous governments, organizations, and businesses to develop the legal and administrative tools to support effective governance and successful economic development. Her practice is very diverse and covers many areas from an Indigenous perspective - always with the goal of achieving meaningful self-governance and self-determination for her clients.
Among other things, Berry drafts laws and policies in all areas of governance, whether under the Indian Act, the First Nations Land Management Act, Self-governing agreements or other federal statutes (such as education, child and family services). Berry also advises on governance best practices, employment law (generally employer side), housing, lands management (on and off-reserve) and on-reserve wills and estates. This is a unique and constantly changing area of law and no two days are the same.
Berry can appreciate that many practitioners may not regularly have to deal with the complex jurisdictional questions that can arise when advising in this area. She looks forward to providing support for those whose practices occasionally intersect with hers but is also keen to provide support and guidance to lawyers who are interested in adding Aboriginal law to their regular practice.
