We are looking for an articling student who wishes to practice in a small and vibrant community to join our office in September 2024 or January 2025. This position will be primarily in our office in the beautiful Cowichan Valley an hour north of Victoria and an hour south of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. There may be opportunities to do some work out of our office in the Fraser Valley which is located in Abbotsford.
The successful candidate will:
- work with lawyers experienced in a wide range of practice areas including but not limited to family law, alternative dispute resolution, estate lititgation, employment law, Human Rights Tribunal matters, and child protection;
- have supervised conduct of their own files as well as provide support for lawyers in the firm;
- have administrative support;
- have access to extended medical benefits after the required probation period;
- have PLTC fees paid by the firm; and
- continue to receive a salary while attending PLTC.
