Comments and Observations of the Co-Chair
The Social Justice Section is an umbrella Section that brings together members of the CBABC who practice in diverse areas of law. The Social Justice Section provides a "home" within the CBABC for members whose practice has a social justice component, or for whom social justice is an important aspect of practicing law. We meet throughout the year for informal discussions about developments in the law and in our own practices. The Section serves also to introduce law students and young lawyers to more senior lawyers, facilitating informal mentoring relationships. We are always looking for new members, and for ideas about how the section can be of value to our membership and to the CBABC more broadly.
