Meeting Title/Topic: Professional Development Joint Annual Conference
Synopsis: The Conference featured numerous short presentations geared to practice issues of interest to solicitors and general practitioners. Presentation topics included Employment Law, Marine Law, WESA, Director Liability, Foreshore Leases and Mortgages, Corporate Records, Insolvency Specialists, Electronic Filing at the LTO and Physician Assisted Dying. Also be a discussion of recent Court decisions of interest. The highlight of the Conference was a Roundtable discussion by senior and experienced counsel on specific practice points that would be helpful to junior and intermediate counsel.
