Luck and light-usage
Jody Lownds
To say these garments were ‘lightly used’ would be an understatement – probably a good thing considering Jody Lownds primarily practiced family law. These were worn once, for Jody’s’ call to the bar ceremony and then once again, to appear at the commencement of a six-day trial. On the day of the trial, the opposing counsel and Jody sought for an adjournment to allow the parties to reach a last-minute settlement. The robes were worn by Jody for the last time at the end of the day during the read out of the terms of the consent order. She wishes others the same luck!
