We are aware that, with the closing of the courts, parties still have pressing interim matters that need to be resolved.
With a view of increasing access to justice during these difficult times, some B.C. family law arbitrators have offered to provide a four-hour arbitration, conducted remotely, to resolve parties' interim matters at an hourly rate of $250, plus taxes and disbursements. This four-hour process will include the review of materials, submissions and delivery of reasons.
The following arbitrators are offering this service to parties who are represented by counsel, considering that the nature of this service may require a certain level of understanding of legal procedures and family law:
