The Kelowna Bar Association hosted the Inaugral Kelowna Battle of the Bar Bands on February 12, 2009 at the Minstrel Cafe in Kelowna. The bands consisted of Blaine Weststrate's Blunt, Kevin Kingston's Jamshack, Robert Levin's Rewind and Bill Clarke's Rock 'n' Horse.
