WLF Education Day was an exciting day of interactive Speed Mentoring and hands-on workshops. Participants left not only with the tools they needed to advance their careers, but with a clear plan on how to integrate these habits, along with an accountability system to ensure follow through.

The 2013 Vancouver Law Week Open House was held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on April 16, 2013 outside UBC Robson Square.

One of the cornerstone events held in British Columbia during Law Week is the annual Barry Sullivan Law Cup public speaking contest. The competition is sponsored by the Canadian Bar Association British Columbia Branch and is open to students enrolled in grades 11-12 in British Columbia.

The Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch held its first Catch Me If You Can Race at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Creekside Park in Vancouver. This event was open to all members of the legal profession, their families and friends.

On June 22, 2012 the Aboriginal Lawyers Forum in partnership with the Department of Justice and McDonald & Co. hosted the 5th Annual National Aboriginal Day On-Line Auction Reception at the Bill Reid Gallery.

The Vancouver Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association were pleased to once again join forces to present the 16th Annual Golf Tournament for the legal profession.

The Eleventh Annual Battle Of The Bar Bands took place at the Commodore Ballroom on June 1. The nights performers included Blind Elmo, The Retainers, Mr. Fancy Education, GNFNR LLP, House Arrest, Standard of Hair and No Reply with The Disclaimers walking away victorious at the end of the night.

The BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association held its ninth annual Law Week Fun Run at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Locarno Beach Park in Vancouver. This event is was open to all members of the legal profession, their familes and friends.

Dial-A-Lawyer Day is an annual event and is a part of Law Week. Law Week 2012 is a National celebration to recognize the importance of our legal system and educate the public on the justice system.
