A mock trial for Hansel and Gretel was performed by grade 4 students on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre Vancouver at 700 Hamilton Street.

The Vancouver Law Week Open House was held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on April 16, 2011 at the CBC Regional Broadcast Centre Vancouver at 700 Hamilton Street. Law Day events included a mock trial, a citizenship ceremony, a free public forum, and display booths.

On Saturday, April 16, 2011, the BC Branch of the Canadian Bar Association held its province-wide "Dial-A-Lawyer" event as part of Law Week. Residents in British Columbia were invited to call and speak with a lawyer for up to 15 minutes at no cost.

One of the cornerstone events held in British Columbia during Law Week is the annual Barry Sullivan Law Cup public speaking contest. The competition is sponsored by the British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and is open to students enrolled in grades 11-12 in British Columbia.

The British Columbia Branch of the Canadian Bar Association held its eighth annual Law Week Fun Run at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Locarno Beach Park in Vancouver.

The 2011 Nanaimo Law Day Open House was held from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm on April 9, 2011 at the Nanaimo Courthouse at 35 Front Street. More than 160 members of the public attended the event.
