The purpose of this Notice is to describe the process for referral of an adult accused person appearing in custody from Prince George, Prince Rupert, Smithers or Terrace sheriff cells or the Prince George Regional Correctional Centre (PGRCC) into the Northern Virtual Bail Courtrooms VR1 and VR2 to a Forensic Liaison and, if requested by the Forensic Liaison, a Forensic Psychiatrist.

Past CBABC President to be Supreme Court Judge

"Scott Morishita, Associate Counsel at Rice Harbut Elliott LLP in Vancouver, is appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Vancouver. Justice Morishita replaces Justice P.H. Edelmann (Vancouver), who was elevated to the Court of Appeal for British Columbia effective October 25, 2024."
