Celebrating Pride

Every year, Pride celebrations occur across Canada on different dates in various cities and jurisdictions.

To celebrate the LGBTQ2SI+ community throughout the entire Pride season, CBABC is pleased to provide resources to help members support Pride in your region and online.

We thank our colleagues at the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association for sharing their resources and creativity with us.

Lawyers with Pride

Show your #Pride by wearing rainbow tabs as a symbol of lawyers’ and the Courts’ openness toward the LGBTQ+ community. Create your own set of rainbow tabs by downloading one of the do-it-yourself templates below.

Download one of these fun backgrounds to your computer, and then upload to Zoom or Teams to show your #Pride during your next online meeting.

We celebrate Pride to recognize and honour the many people who have worked and are working tirelessly to strengthen our 2SLGBTQI+ community and to claim the rights and freedoms that we were historically denied. We also celebrate Pride to recognize that the work is not done.

This year CBABC's SAGDA section will be participating in:

Jul 7: Victoria Pride Parade

July 13: Fraser Valley Pride

Aug 4: Vancouver Pride Parade

Please register at least five days prior to the parade dates. Register ➔
