Criteria
| Purpose | To provide financial assistance for early career lawyers to attend the *National CBA Immigration Conference from May 28-30, 2026 in Ottawa. |
| Funds |
A maximum of five bursaries, valued at $700 each, are available. Only one bursary awarded per successful applicant. Bursaries are awarded as reimbursement to successful applicants who have paid for their registration and attended both the B.C. and National Immigration Conferences. |

Bursary applications will undergo preliminary screening for eligibility until the application deadline. After February 13, applications that pass the preliminary screening will undergo a second review and will be awarded based on the date and timestamp of when the application was received. Preference will be given to applicants who have never received a CBABC Immigration Law Section Bursary. Successful applicants will be notified by email and phone. Bursary funding will be distributed to each of the successful applicants after their attendance is confirmed at both conferences. |
