Vancouver County Representative on the Board of Directors
CBABC seeks candidates from which it will appoint as its next Vancouver County representative to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia (CLEBC) Board of Directors. This person will succeed Brent Olthius, KC and serve a three-year term effective September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2029.
To increase the diversity of the Board, CLEBC is specifically seeking appointees who:
- Are from a racialized/visible minority
- Identify as 2SLGBTQAI+
- Identify as First Nations/Inuit/Metis
- Are sole practitioners, in-house, or with a law firm with over 50 lawyers
- Have 10 or fewer years of call
- Are persons with disabilities
- Have experience in these areas of law: publishing/copyright, Indigenous
The appointed candidate must maintain CBA membership throughout their term.
