Purpose
Some First Nations have signed agreements or treaties with Canada and British Columbia. These agreements or treaties acknowledge the authority of First Nations to make their own laws in certain areas, and to prosecute offences under those laws in the Provincial Court of British Columbia.
This Notice identifies the Provincial Court location where those prosecutions will be heard.
