This notice applies to criminal proceedings in the Supreme Court. It describes the process to be followed by defence counsel of record who want to receive reports authored by a probation officer or Forensic Psychiatric Services (“Reports”), from the Supreme Court criminal registry by secure file transfer electronic mail (“SFTS”), including pre-sentence reports, psychiatric/psychological assessments and technical suitability reports.
Defence counsel of record must submit a completed Notice of Electronic Mail Address and Consent Form by email to the criminal registry in each court location from which counsel wishes to receive Reports by SFTS.
