How well does the Assisted Human Reproduction Act work in practice today? CBABC’s Fertility Law Section is seeking input from members to inform potential changes to the federal law and its regulations.
Since the legislation was introduced, assisted reproduction has become more common, technology has evolved and practitioners are encountering areas of uncertainty where the law and regulations fall short of providing clear answers. The case law to date has resulted in piecemeal interpretations that have unintended consequences and often add to the confusion.
Join one of two engagement sessions to share practical examples, concerns and ideas.
We want to hear:
- Where does the federal framework create uncertainty?
- What problems have you or your clients encountered?
- What changes would better support the people and families who rely on assisted reproduction?
Please share client experiences without identifying information.
