What do all the Sections do?

Each Section typically plans 3-8 CPD and/or networking events per membership year. Explore all the Section mandates that explain each Section’s purpose and goals.
Is there a fee for enrolling in Sections?

You must be a CBABC member to enjoy this exclusive benefit.

Once you have paid for membership, Section enrollment and access to all Section resources is free. Some meetings or events include a cost, usually for meals or refreshments.
How do I enroll?

Enrolling is simple! Select the Sections you want to join in this enrollment form. You must be a CBABC member to enjoy this exclusive benefit.
What happens after I enroll?

Once you complete the enrollment form, you receive an email confirming your Section enrollment. If there is a corresponding National Section that matches your Branch Section, we will automatically enroll you in it.
Do I have to re-enroll in Sections every year?

No. Once you enroll in a Section, you are automatically re-enrolled every year for as long as you renew your membership. You can update your Sections at any time, adding or removing them.
Do I have to enroll in Sections to attend an upcoming meetings and events?

No. CBABC members don’t need to be enrolled in the host Section to register for a meeting or event. A list of upcoming meetings can be found in our Upcoming Programs.
Can CBA members in other jurisdictions join BC Sections?

Yes. CBA members from other jurisdictions can join the BC Branch and enroll in BC Sections. Simply add BC as a secondary branch to your membership and pay the BC branch levy.¹

CBA members of the Yukon and Northwest Territories Branches receive one free BC Section enrollment.
